Student Project by Anthony Flouty, AA Second Year, AA Experimental 3, 2020 for 'The Land of Consolidate Trees'

Investigation of using technology to measure the growing forest could be transferred to a structural scaffolding system that would guide the growth of the trees into the house and reused elsewhere once the house has fully grown. Such a construction technique would allow for, a continuous presence of the carbon absorbing and resource features we call for in trees, a contribution to creating a higher quality of life for the fauna and creating a connection between the home and the community as they graft and prune the growing structure. Thus, the idea of trees in the rural will evolve as the man-made and the natural become more intertwined and a forest culture is reintroduced despite technological development.
